Moon Halo

Post by cataclysm »

This was taken last evening. Not a rare phenomenon by any measure, but it was an opportunistic target taken from my living room window. It does looked a bit interesting in this tight fov , imaged with Tak FS60, 0.8x WO reducer/flattener & Canon 30D, the Moon seems like being embedded within nebulae presented in Hubble palette. But the colours are real, albeit slightly enhanced after HDR processing (6 bracket shots).

Beautiful interpretation. Dragon eye to celebrate the upcoming year of the dragon. :)
