M42 with a Alt Az mount

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

M42 with a Alt Az mount

Post by mymoon »

The KL sky so clear after 11.30pm. Took the iOptron Mini Tower for a drive with the C8. The fastest to set up. Don't know when the clouds will appear.

Problem is the nearly full moon.

But after not been able to image for so long what the heck.

Image

using BYE software set Canon 40D Hutech to focus dan frame(composition) dan tembak 20X10sec frames dan 10 Dark frames

stack using DeepSkyStacker dan adjust levels, contrast dan saturation dan noise reduce with Photoshop 2

cheers

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing what can be accomplished with a 8" SCT and good astrophotography skills.
