Sun shot through paper solar viewer (Thanks Clifford!) using a compact camera 10 mins ago:

As it is, cropped only, no image editing.

Paper solar viewer?? You mean those paper with solar filter mounted on it?? No bad... still can see sun spots!

Ah...this was the one of the items sponsored by our vendor (I think it was Lee Wee Kiong, our Meade vendor, correct me if I am wrong) who gave it out to everyone at the previous Venus transit. I had it with me on that day but all I saw was a tiny blurred sun covered by clouds. :)

The only thing is that I collected the viewer during Astronomy 2008 and not 2004 Venus transit.

So Gary, now you know the source to get this viewer and maybe sponsor, haha
