Hi folks:

My take is this is a common "iridescence cloud" - commonly seen even in S'pore or anywhere... where you can see fragments of color-hue clouds....with strong sunlight or even moonlight reflection. The formation is no too far from familar 'arc' - rainbow....

i agree with reis. but nacreous clouds are not necessarily harmful. it's also a type of iridescent clouds but rare.

i dont think it's possible to witness it in sg.

check out this site. has loads of information and pictures on different clouds.
