Dempsey road invaded

Guys,

Have you all heard Class 95 FM? The DJ dunno say what function going on at dempsey Road soon.....

Gosh, I mean of all places, why the heck they choose a remote place such as Dempsey road????? Because of the wine bar there?

There goes our favourite observing ground.

Whoa. There goes another retreat.

But think on the other side, what if we still do obs there while such functions go on? Maybe can promote astronomy like that?

I should think most who can go there should be able to afford this interest..

Perhaps is not all that bad mah...
So convinient, having a bar nearby, can pop in anytime for some booze inbetween obs session, that might really help to see "stars" better after afew rounds.....

mm...maybe this is only a one off event. ?
you should go and make a nuisance of yourself there, so that they will be too fed up to organise another meeting there!

i don't think it will take off as transport is a problem and the place is not very accessible...

Today's Streat's 15 July 2004, more publicity on the pubs...

Anyone here staying in Bukit Butok? Someone commented in today's Streats that the lightings there is very dim... Looks like singapore is getting brighter and crowded

Think they've done those decal giveaways at Dempsey Rd carpark before. Its only at the carpark by the mainroad, so relax.. don't think they are invading our favourite viewing spot yet.
