Hello everybody.
I have bundled together enough money and want to buy a refractor scope.
My eye is set on the Takahashi TSA 120 and I was wondering on the logistics of doing it
through Singapore???
I live in Thailand but visit Singapore very frequently.I get the impression that Singapore has
slightly kinder taxes on such a purchase?
A few years ago I bought a pair of binoculars and a tripod through "Astrobargains"....and even
collected the bino's(as I remember) in person from the guy's house.Found the service good.
Basically,I am quite a newbie on what is the most efficient and budget-conscious way of
buying this scope and getting it over to South-East-Asia/Thailand/Singapore.
(apart from actually going myself to the USA,or knowing someone to take me one from there).
I was hoping there were some members on here who have made purchases of a Tak/Televue/Stellarvue
etc.... and know the ins and outs of how to go about it.(or could point me in the right direction.)??
Many Thanks for any tips.

Re: Buying a Tak.........
I don't believe you can get a Tak cheaper in Singapore.
There aren't much in the way of local dealers.
I recommend visit Hong Kong and buy from Peter Lee (www.tan14.com)
His prices are lower than US prices.
