hmmm. this GTF does seem like a good choice then.

my only experience has been with a WO 70mm doublet plus flattener. the stars are round but defocused at the corners.

have not tested my triplet with the flattener, but i have a non-reducing flattener coming and i hope that will give tight stars to the edge, not sure if it will though.
