testing out a new camera - Flea3

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

testing out a new camera - Flea3

Post by rcj »

Hi all,

Been eons since last dabbled into solar system imaging. Was lucky enough to grab a second-hand Pt Grey Flea3 FW camera recently on the net, and oh my, this bugger is real tiny (just as it would sound - flea-like). It made the filter wheel looked huge. Here is a few first light images taken with the CN212.

Saturn (under mediocre hazy conditons) in Luminance, and RGB composite.
