Milkyway from ClubMed Bintan

Post by cataclysm »

Hi folks, had a short get away with my family to Bintan ClubMed, was rewarded with one clear night, and I had with me my 80mm grab n go refractor to quell my "astro-crave". Below are some snap shots of the night sky around the resort. Other than the local light pollution that marred the night sky, the milky way is still pretty obvious to the naked eyes.

Nice! Thanks for sharing. Astro Retreat 2013 was conducted on the same island very recently too. :)
