This is a crappy mount. Suggest you upgrade to a better one. You'll need to change your existing "hook" on your scope to a dovetail if you intend to use it on the CG4.

If you manage to repair the hook, you can also consider getting a stable camera tripod for your scope.

Just let either Dave or I know if you want to borrow a tripod. Between the two of us, I'd wager we have something like 9 tripods - both for photography and astronomy.
