This one looks exactly like the recently discussed Gakken planetarium but its significantly cheaper on Groupon:

I have no experience with this product and how good or bad it is but from the pic and description, it does look strikingly similar.

But base on the photos alone, the Milky Way seems to be missing. Looks like an imitation of the original Gakken Home Planetarium. Quite happy with the quality and snug fit of the components while fixing my Gakken.

This seems to be similar to the earlier version of the Gakken Mook planetarium (see viewtopic.php?f=24&t=12730&hilit=gakken&start=10). One major con of this version IMO is that the constellation lines are drawn in.

The one that Kino sells is the 'improved' version. How 'improved' I have no idea for the new version is certainly good :-)
