WTS: Filters (Closed)
Mint and unused filters for sale
* Plastic covers have scratches caused by filters themselves - obviously 0 effect on performance.
1. Lumicon 2" UHC (2x) - $240 -> $220
2. Lumicon 2" OIII -
3. Lumicon 1.25" UHC (2x) - $130 -> $120 [SOLD]
4. Lumicon 2" Variable Polarizer - $75 [SOLD]
5. Lumicon 2" Orange (#21) - $40 -> $30 [SOLD]
6. Lumicon 2" Light Yellow (#8) (3x) - $40 -> $30 (1 SOLD, 2 remaining; great for reducing chromatic aberration if you are using an achromat refractor)
7. Lumicon 1.25" OIII filter (3x) - $120 ->$110 [1 SOLD, 2 remaining]
8. Lumicon 1.25" Comet filter - $75 [SOLD]
Used, but in excellent condition
1. Lumicon 1.25" Variable Polarizer - $40 [SOLD]
2. Celestron Red filter - $10 [SOLD]
3. Astronomik ProPlanet 742 IR Pass - $50 [SOLD] (Kills bad seeing, allows imaging by day). (http://www.astronomik.com/en/photograph ... ilter.html)
If you have not been using astronomical filters, you have been missing out a lot. Used on the correct objects they enhance contrast. In some cases, the correct filters allow you to see objects that you will otherwise not see.
