Series finale episode 13 shown in Singapore. So sad to see this series end. Wish it could go on and on like The Sky at Night. Even one new episode per month will be worth looking forward to. At least it was good while it lasted. The newer generation finally got their own updated version of COSMOS in glorious blu-ray resolution.

Those who missed it can catch the repeats in the next week.

It's out on Amazon today! I don't subscribe to cable TV so I haven't watched anything yet. If there's anyone interested to buy together (PM me by tomorrow), I'm getting the Bluray, USD30. Shipping is around USD10.

About 6 hours ago, Dr Tyson reminded his followers there's 2 hours of extra stuff in the Blu-ray/DVD:

"This special edition BluRay/DVD contains a full two hours of extras, including a mini-doc featuring behind-the-scenes coverage on the making of Cosmos and an interactive Cosmic Calendar."

As a die-hard fan of Carl Sagan and of the entirety of Cosmos series, the best part of the show for me was this segment from episode 13. The pale blue dot, narrated by Sagan. This video has been the cause of several goosebumps for me in the past year.
