Yodobashi , Akihabara has a collection of various brands apart from Takahashi.

wow...really want to go to Japan...never been there before. Missed my chance during the Fukushima incident when prices were so low! :) Do check out all the Taks and Borgs, Samuel. Resistance is futile!

I'm in the market for a short focal length, long eye relief, high contrast eyepiece. I'll see if I can find it here :)

Argh!!! So disappointed! We found the shop only to see a sign that said they are closed for 3 days from 5 to 7 May... the exact same 3 days that I am in Japan! [smilie=crying3.gif]

I could only stand outside and drool over what I could see inside....

But now that my wife knows the location, she will help me to get stuff the next time she's here...

I will update everyone again when that happens. So if you guys need any small items and accessories from there, she can bring it back in her luggage.
