Manfrotto 190D + Manfrotto 410 junior geared head

Hi all,

I've been out of touch for some 10 years. Back in those days where I was active, the Manfrotto 190D tripod legs and Manfrotto 410 junior geared head was a very popular combination for those of us with small scopes e.g 60 - 80mm wide-field refractors and up to 5" SCTs and Maksutov-Cassegrains. Portable yet stable. I remember I could even mount my 22 x 100mm binos on it.

Are they still available these days? Any idea how much they cost now?

Sam, back in those old days, the 190D was for lighter scopes, the 55 was for heavier ones. I still have my 55 and 410 head..haha
But since then, there has been countless new versions all bearing the same 190D so you may want to pop by Cathay Photo to check them out. There is also a tripod shop on the ground floor of SLS that sells all type os tripods. They are located in the outer rim.
Last I checked, Alan Photo was selling the 410 head.

Just a little side note. Been observing the amazon france website for the past few days now, and it seems that the price is dropping by 1~2 euros again. Right now it's roughly $230 sgd including shipping and exchange rate

^ the downward price adjustment is automatic
once it reach an undisclosed sales quota it will jump back to higher profit margin
