Possible Deal Alert!

Saw a Questar 90 with chrome fork mount at Toa Payoh Cash Converters (near the Courts at Toa Payoh Central) display window for $188!

I say a *possible* deal alert as I have not examined the optics and do not know the functionality of the scope. For those who are interested, do pop over with a suitable eyepiece +/- mount to test it out!

I know of such things happening in the US when the owner passes on and the family sells the stuff away at a yard sale, not knowing the value.

I was very tempted to get it but I do not have the place to store it :-(

They cost thousands of dollars brand new! But of course, as I have seen a very mint one from Remus previously, the original comes with all the bells and whistles. Nice carrying case, accessories etc. ..so who bought it?? :P
