When the haze finally disappears, point to a star. Defocus the image. U will see a black shadow in the middle, like a donut. Make sure the donut is symmetrical.

Okay thank you. Is it feasible to buy a collimation cap?

Hi Haejae
There should be screws behind the mirror for this. Do check out the instruction manual which should provide the steps on how to do this.

Hi, if I remember correctly Celestron newt have a base plate covering the access to the collimation screws (at least mine did, but mine was a late 1990s design).

If the rear end of your scope tube has 3 screws, remove them and the thin "base" plate which will allow you to see the screws. If you already see 6 screws arranged in sets of 2 spread out like a triangle.. those are your collimating screws. (3x2)

You can trying searching on google or youtube for videos on collimation of the C127.

Collimation will be not be possible using laser collimator. This is a Bird-Jones newtonian with corrector lens. The only best way based on my experience will be using star test to get a good collimation. Laser never get collimation done (Laser point become a large blurred circle due to presence of corrector lens)
