Anyone tried this pier?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Hi,
Ha Ha... count yourself lucky that you get the long one. Heard that the short type isn't that good. It actually is a 4.5" F4.5 Newtonian with a 2x barlow built-in the focuser.

Have a nice day.

Yo guys, got a reply from Mark of Clearvue. All he said was... "the cost of shipping to Singapore will be prohibitively expensive..."

Oh well...

Heh.. looks like u have to source locally. Meanwhile use mine lor. I'm using the tripod with weixing's half pier for the time being. So the full pier is free.

I'll get the adaptor plate modified. But it may not be in time for this Saturday though.

Any idea how is astronomy scene in Japan?
see you under the stars...

Hi,

Why don't you try shipping to Singapore via VPOSTUSA? You can get an estimate by keying in the shipping carton dimensions and the weight.

The other option is to get it fabricated locally. Much cheaper that way.
