No lar. It's actually because someone just place an order for the 130EDFGT and the 140EDF. Hahahhaha! :)

But thanks to him, the night was cooling and very shiok to sleep through due to the early morning heavy rain. :)

Gary, placing order doesnt count, unless it is physically here already. For those two, the inclement weather may nit happen for a really looong time...

Went there back in April to check on the collimation, and support the session. Many thanks to Sam for the invitation. More pictures http://celestialportraits.com/cp_events ... iralty.php

Sam
Is there a fixed time for operation of the observatory, eg like the Science Centre..every Friday evening as long as the sky is clear?

Thanks guys.
I guess Fridays being TGIF is the best day but with the Science Centre also having their session on the same day, if possible best to deconflict the schedule to maximise coverage. But no worries for Fridays for me...can always take turns to drop by each week...and there 52 in a year! :)

This evening 11 May 2012, we made another trip to the Andromeda Galaxy...err...i mean the Andromeda Observatory at the Galaxy.

This time I didnt get a chance to look inside the observatory as I was busy manning the Yellow Sub outside.

Was my first visit to the observatory, thanks to Sam and Jin Peng to allow me to have a first hand experience with the instruments in the observatory. Took some pictures too:
