many thanks to everyone for your comments! Galaxy is really huge, to cover the outer arms, probably need 2x2 mosaic. Old G11 mount is seldom behaving well these days, especially with heavy loads, during M31 capture, somehow there were less inconsistencies in the tracking errors. Still have some other images yet to process properly from last trip, will try to put them up soon. Meanwhile, with a greater imaging resolution, sometimes it is not only planetary, but DSO imaging will require ultimately a night of good seeing, where one can optimize on the resolution of the instrument to its fullest.
