The Ring is always one of the mandatory objects for any obs sessions in darker skies. You captured the colours too. Thanks for sharing

Re: M13 and M27
Hi,
Remember, I am not expert like you all. vey new to Astrophotography, Taking colour DSO IS not so easy in Singapore. done some long exposure with H alpha and OIII to get somthings. I couldn't do proper polar alignment due to limited sky. I need to find out how to do accurate polar alignment within the restriction of sky opening. All images taken on 24 jul 2013.
Telescope: Testing - Skywatcher 6" reflactor from Astro siao( Thanks to him)
Filters: H-Alpha, OIII
Autoguider: DSI color with ST80
Mount : Orion sirius EQ-G
Camera: Modified deep cold DSI PRO I.
Temp: 5c
Exposure: H alpha 5.39min X 4, OIII 5.39min X4
Thanks.

Re: M13 and M27
can these be seen in normal visual astronomy with Nexstar 8SE?
Re: M13 and M27
@zymon - Can. But not colourful and in so much details in 8SE under Singapore skies. More like fuzzy, greyish objects. Bigger the telescope, the brighter and more defined these fuzzy patches will be.
@kimo - Nice photos. Impressive what an aged basic 6" newt is capable of achieving in capable hands.
