C9.25 or Mewlon 180?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

hi vince, i'm taking over kayheem's truss-dob project. Will try to do some improvements first, or maybe send the optical sets and parts to Rob Teeter next year for a proper conversion.

actually I think the optical set from KayHeem should be good enough. We rarely have skies that allow good optics to be pushed to the limit anyway.

Not a bad idea to have 10" dob around. No need batteries, no loud mechanical noises and just plain simple scope to use. I nearly wanted to buy this from him if it's not because I have other committments.
