nexstar SE back on discount today , although not as attractive as April pricing and exchange rate
6se stands at USD 1007.75 , $64 higher than April
equivalent to SGD 1432.50 in today's exchange rate

Amazon finally unlocked the shipping restriction on these 2 beginner scopes.
ST80 OTA need shipping cost , C90 #52268 doesn't.
ST80 OTA is without mounting dovetail or tube ring , so do take note the price difference from the ST-80A set at USD 209.99
Celestron landscout series binoculars also unlocked , small risk of losing alignment from the shipping journey ... otherwise good entry level price (~$120 singapore dollars) with porro BaK-4 prisms and fully multicoated.
6SE at the usual seasonal discount 699 + 308 shipping&GST , $1444 sing dollars
this nikon binoculars also unlocked for international after 1 year
about $208 singapore dollars at today's exchange rate ... $80 savings

Amazon launched their Prime Now app today for Singapore , lots of stuff available for next-day shipping from their Jurong warehouse.
Pricing not direct match to USA pricing though ...
Tried searching the usual keywords telescope , binoculars , celestron ... no hits.
Only thing is celestron cometron 7x50 binoculars at $53
if use the promotion coupon VISA20 for visa card ... deduct $20 off minimum $40 purchase
not bad for $33 delivered next day

Last week Amazon stopped the free international shipping to Singapore for qualifying small items under 18inch packaging , to push forward their SG PrimeNow app.
Some items like the C90 mak returned to locked for export a couple months back ,
while some mid $300+ sing dollars entry-level kits have their shipping cost adjusted to be more reasonable.

fast forward now to 2019
today amazon started their .sg website , not strictly needed to use their phone app and prime membership trial
for selected products , minimum spending for free shipping (within singapore) remain at $40 sgd so you may need to find a filler item
they don't have any telescope listed @ .sg website

amazon usa website have celestron promotion limited to 1 day , 8se drop to lowest in 11years , around $1550 sing dollars including international shipping and 7%GST

wow.....never would have expected to see such prices, shipped to Singapore! That's very good! Would have considered if I not already have one!
