[[As for me I discovered that the optimal aperture is between 90mm to 100mm. Have you try stepping down the aperture
to say 100mm during turbulent atmospheric conditions? I did that and it works.....at 540nm......wonder if it works at Ha.

For the last 4 years I have been working on 75 to 100 mm aperture with relatively good results. Then I stepped up to 150mm.
I discovered that it is crucial to have an ERF up front to filter off the undesired elements to obtain a steady image for larger aperture.
I have done this for both H-Alpha and WL, though I do less of WL imaging.
My next step is to move to even larger aperture. I am looking at doing both HA and WL imaging with a C14. Budget is my main
constraint
