oh i'm sorry but it doesn't come with the starbright XLT coat
but it does come with the celestron standard starbright coatings

me not c8 guru la, never seen through an xlt before ... anyway, i believe the coating is definitely different, but whether you can see the difference in image quality, imho, depend on seeing condition, coating condition, collimation, and your mileage.

optics are scratchless and dustless!
