yeah skies were really good for this trip, was clear almost the whole night except the time after sunset. i'm still wondering how come the 4 lampposts directly next to our campsite could be off while the rest up and down the road were on...

some of the new stuff i managed to find thru my 5" mak were m11, m27 (very bright and distinct), m92, m31 (naked eye object), double cluster... think sam found some other stuff thru it as well. tried finding m33 but failed (neck strain haha), managed to catch it with chris' and liuming's scopes though. view of mars thru liuming's scope was awesome, could see the dark markings and one polar ice cap.

Since I've been given more space, I will post some more pictures:

As the sun set, the sky was still clear, but the moment the sun set, clouds rolled in!

But the skies cleared...

covered many object over the night. Some for the first time: M33 triangulum galaxy and M76 the little dumbell. Special mention includes M31, M31 and M110.. beautiful; M24 - background was a cloud of stars literally; Albireo - really shone blue and orange - breathtaking!; Double cluster in Perseus. Others: M6 M7 M4, usual clusters in scorpius, M11, M17, M16, M8, M20, M27, M57, many meteors and Mars with its snowcap visible!

A lousy image taken with my digital camera to the eyepiece (note snowcap on bottom left):
