As Mooey had succinctly stated in his wonderfully-written account above, the trip was great fun and a most enjoyable experience, not so much because of the clear sky or the great scopes or the fabulous views of the deepsky objects seen (the bright, sharp and intricately detailed image of the Veil Nebula through Elton's Teleport is absolutely unforgettable), but more due to all of the people there who shared their equipment, knowledge, experience, comradeship, enthusiasm and passion for this hobby. So credit should be given to the whole group who made it all such a memorable and pleasurable occasion. I felt that this was indeed also one of my best astronomical experience so far.

It was Astronomik's. It worked great for larger scopes (7" and above), I'm hunting for one now :-)

Arief, you mean the celestron o-III was made by Baader? It was actually quite nice. I'm thinking of buying the celestron 2" O-III and UHC pretty soon. Let's consolidate orders if you are buying soon too.

elton, sorry, i thought tg was referring to your 1.25" OIII that i used on my 7" :-)
i think i also saw the veil from your teleport via richard's 2" OIII. in either cases, the view was unbelievable!

Hi Tan Guan, we used the Celestron 2" OIII filter on the Teleport and it worked very well, definitely value for money, though we did not make a direct comparison with other OIII filters.
