binoculars question

You should also "check" that the binos are in good working order. This can happen if the scope has been dropped or something. I actually used a friends binos once and they were very badly out of collimation (i.e. left eye view and right eye view were seeing very different things) !! Normally, with binos, can see many more stars than with naked eye, I think in the order of 10x more ? At least that's the impression I got, especially when used on a clear night.
