Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Now it is like thriller story (CSI Singapore) we all want to know the ending.
Did the seller put in the item before the box was sealed or it was lost in transit?
Any smoking gun???
We all should know who the seller is but he seem to keep very low profile.

i don't think it's the singapore custom that took it , i have received almost 40 packages from overseas intact and in very good condition (yes, they check each and every package).
i also don't think the malaysian custom that took it since they don't care about outgoing packages and never bother to open the packages. hmm...

Hi,

Malaysian custom does checked every outgoing parcel. Actually as a Malaysian, I personally dont believe Malaysia pos office service.

I am also waiting the report from Tachyon as well. I am not keeping myself in low profile. Actually I am the one who loss a lot. Perseids knows me so well actually...

No point I want to send an empty box out....The weight in my mailing record when I sent out is around 1.2kg.

Fed up with Malaysia post office at last........

Good that you clear the air.
If it was done earlier it helps to reduce suspicion on ur side.
Hope everything turns out A>O>K.

Thanks..I also hope so. But the chance to get back the focuser always the less. As mentioned by Perseid before.

But hope some miracle will appear.

Maybe for those outgoing custom officers, this looked like a bomb making parts....just joking :)

If it was insured, I hope you can get the refund.

Recently I prefer EMS for cross-border mails (beside FedEx or DHL). I am tired of getting nervous and fighting with post offices.

Good luck to you.

I also thought like that at the first time. Bomb like object! If yes, why they still want to send out the empty box....They will contact me at the first place...or asked FBI to catch me? :)

Hi,
The looks of the WO SCT Crayford Focuser is very impressive and expensive looking... may be that is the reason why it disappear from the box... :( :( :(

Have a nice day.

i was the one who didn't receive persied's green laser. it apparently disappeared into thin air... he was so kind to send me another one. and for that i'll recemmend perseid as a most trustworthy seller :worship:
i won't trust non-trackable post in malaysia at all, poslaju/ems are good.
i just placed an order for an CVF 'Spotlight' with STI in the states and he informed me that it has been shipped out using global priority mail despite my repeated request that he ship it by EMS and i'll foot the cost (around $10-$20 diiference). now i'm not a very happy man nervously crossing my fingers until the thing arrive... :(

only problem i had with ems is the custom officers based in the poslaju office in my town are a bit ... let just say... crooked. the one based in the post office depot is must straighter...
