BIG super store is the new incarnation of "SAFE" , now located on the 3rd floor of old World Trade Centre (Harbour Front Cruise centre).

hi Tommy,
What happened to your WO focuser? I don't remember sending you anything at all, and this was just a volunteery thought (not making anything out of this, for friendship good will that's all). You sound as though you had a bad experience once, which I am totally unaware.
hi Kochu,
Is that the only outlet in Singapore that retails this refractor? It is a bit far for me especially when I have no private transport.

Hi Remus,
I do not know any other place selling it. About a month back I saw somewhat similar one at Mustafa. But before I made up my mind, the whole stock vanished.
So I just went over to BIG during lunch break and bought two pcs before this also ran out of stock. So if you do not find it convenient to go there you can take those from me . It is lying with me in office.
BTW I will be outstation till New year from 21 st onwards .If you cannot collect it from me I will leave it with Matthew.
Sorry I cannot join you all in your Batu Layar trip. Hope you get clear skies. We are all overdue for a break.

haha...no problem. how did you know it was me who cleaned up the duplicate posts? :-)
anyway, I saw the scope sometime back but was afraid it was of toys-r-us quality. so how was it? if acceptable, I'm tempted to buy it and chuck it in the boot for any adhoc viewing as it came with a tripod.
incidently, I went into the counter to take a closer look only to be shooed away by the staff..heh heh
