Hi all,
Haha, Im not sure if its possible for the human eye to dilate more than 7mm. I guess I am able to see dim stuff slightly easier because I have been taking these since 2001:
Besides the below, you can also try eating fruits and vegetables high in beta carotene, eg: tomato, carrot, papaya, oranges. I think I read somewhere that the higher the colour intensity of the fruit/veg, the more beta carotene it contains.
However, just to be safe, please read this:

Ah, talking about supplements for the eyes. (a bit off topic, just FYI)
Chinese wolfberries(gou ju zi), as many chinese know, are good for the eyes. If Im not wrong, the dates are also beneficiary for the eyes too!
According to Western scientific studies, you will need to have a diet full of anti-oxidants so that it reduces damage(a natural process) done to the cells by oxidation. It slows down retinopathy- a condition which deteriorates the retina, the light sensitive, image-receiving inner lining of the eye. I would not recommend having anti oxidants pills found in pharmacy unless its stated that its wholesome and natural from fruits. Best is to eat more oranges and cactus.
Beta-carotene is just another name for Vitamin A(if I m not wrong). Again, take more carrots and not of the pills!
