i prefer the first one too....
its has more colours, a blue star here and there, however with less star density and better contrast.
btw, i hardly see the stars myself at night very clearly, how do you track it....you use your skysensor2000 right?

It can be seen quite clearly in the finder scope, so not much problem pointing at it, but focusing is an issue. Also, I don't have Sky Sensor 2000... I just do the polar alignment as accurate as possible and use Single Axis drive to track it.btw, i hardly see the stars myself at night very clearly, how do you track it....you use your skysensor2000 right?

After some adjustment here and there, I replace my original image in the first post with the latest one... reduce some red components, so the background will not look too reddish and also retain some of the "golden"...
