Arief DIY 10" Dob??

My passport expires in 5 months time. Can't extend this week as the indon embassy is closed for the whole week for the independence day celebration. Should I just go and hope the m'sian custom will let me in?

As long as you have at least 3 months of valid passport, going in/out Malaysia should be ok. Malaysian or not, if you are Malay and Muslim, you got the advantage when you talk to the officer there.

If thats the case, I suggest it is better for Arief to call and check with the M'sian Customs first. If the M'sian customs refuse to accept Arief's passport, we can't just conveniently leave Arief and his scope in-between customs...

By the way Arief, I have ask my friend Roma_my, a fellow Singastro member, to stop by and check with the officer at the Malaysian Customs whether a passport with 5 months validity is ok for entry. The answer is yes.

But this is no guarantee it will work, and if it doesn't, Arief, just walk back and leave your stuffs behind for us to take care! :)

Hi,
Together with Chris Yeo, Klutz and her friend, Winson... our driver :), we drive up (actually I just seat :P) to Mersing and meet with the rest of the guys at around 5.30pm. After taking dinner, we split up to buy our stuff for the night and meet with them again at the site.

After buying our stuffs, we reach the site at around 7.30pm... the rest of the guys already there and some already completed setting up their "BIG CANNON".

Anyway, weather wasn't that good... :( :(
Sound of session:
Early evening: "OK... partly cloudy... see this and see that...wow... oh... sianz..."
Before mid-night: "Tea Break... hey... HEY!... HEY! #@%$* Stop flashing... OK, that's it! Tied him to where?? Suggestion?? Tree??"
After mid-night: "zzz... zzz... zzz..."
Before sunrise: "Raining yesterday night?? Who wash my Telescope??"
Sunrise: "Hmm... Where to makan??"

As a result, I wasn't able to accomplish my goal... taking some astrophoto... :( :( But I do take some interesting photo... risking my "life" in the progress... ha ha ha :P :P :P

Enjoy the photo and have a nice day.
