What are your favourite Astro objects?

when I first started, the planets especially Saturn and Jupiter were my favourite objects, followed by M6, M7, Orion, Jewel Box and Albireo.
That was the time when I had not been trained to see faint objects and was starting to learn to identify the constellations from Singapore.
I remember Remus pointing out the swan on my ETX90 but I struggled and could not see it (similarly as frustrated was gary goh who was with me too!)
Of course now with a trained eye and some averted vision I can make out many of these stuff, although much less sensitive as compared with RichardII's eyes!
These days, my favourite objects are more or less any of them I can manually go to without the goto !! :lol:

OH yea i totally agree with you VinSnr!!

A clear sky is what everyone needs, even if there's no equipment to help us! lol..
Stargazing ... is an excuse to stay up past bedtime that never fails!
