OK, I'm confirmed interested in the prism.
Not the plossl, because from the pics it is not the same as my own so it will not match for bino-viewing.
Will PM you for dealing details. Cheers!

Hi folks,
Thanks to Alvin for alerting me to the market rates for the telescope. I hereby revise my price for the telescope (without accessory lens or prism) to $500. Considering the astronomical price I paid for it, I would rather keep it and use it myself if I can't sell it at this price, so contact me (pm or 91250868) only if you are willing to deal at $500. The prices of the other accessories remain unchanged. Thanks!

So what items are still available? I thought Alvin bought the Prism already?

Yes, I bought the Amici prism. Amici prism is good for terrestrial use, but usually not recommended for astronomy use. I bought it to fit on my other scopes which double-up as birding scopes.
The new price of $500 for this fine OTA (Optical Tube Assembly) is definitely very attractive. Hey, it's an APO refractor! I bought mine for $600 from a super friendly gentleman (Airconvent, you reading this?) here. Yangchen is a nice gentleman too... I've met him

ha ha ..yes Alvin. I am still in the WO club....still have my Megrez 80 APO...heh heh His current price is very good. Now he needs to find someone who also does birding like you who appreciate it...If you buy it also, you can convert it into a super duper APO bino!

Yangchen,
Your current price fot the OTA is very attractive. I am tempted to buy one more (not to make a super duper APO bino as jokingly suggested by Airconvent)... for use as 600mm supertele APO birding lens (it will be 900mm equivalent considering the 1.5x crop factor on my K100D dSLR).
But if you can list out the available stuff again, perhaps others can see what's in store for them. I'll take the OTA if no one else approach you after the middle of next month (need to wait for next payday lah... spent too much already).
Good luck!

i have also taken a hard look @ it, it is value scope for starters, great with high powered eyepiece...ie lvw 3.5mm
The focal lenght should be 388mm f5.9 ( not 600mm )...

Oops, my error there... mixed up focal length with my 80mm refractor... 1.5 x 388mm is nearly 600mm... still good as a supertele APO lens.

Hi folks,
The telescope has been sold. My Plossl and Barlow lenses are still available; I will post them on a new topic under the proper subject heading. Thanks!
