Don't think there is any used GPD2 in singastro now. you can check around.

I am using this as a 10" Newtonian example:

Arief's mount is:

and it's white? Hmm it should be black since it is Orion Atlas mount.

Eq6 or EqG

whether it is EQ-6 or EQ-G, it doesn't really matter because they are the same mounts labelled with different brands.

EQ-6 is Skywatcher branded
EQ-G is Orion branded

Yes, I have an EQ6-GOTO (aka EQ-G) mount for sale (without tripod/pier). It supports up to 18kg (40lbs).

Full specs here: http://www.telescope.com/shopping/produ ... tID=198749

You can get a compatible pier for this mount from Meng Lee ( http://www.singastro.org/viewtopic.php?t=4738 )

Price for my second-hand EQ6-GOTO mount is S$1450.00 firm.

Btw, new EQ6-GOTO mount price with tripod is S$2400 + $$$ shipping from US. WITHOUT GOTO, the new EQ6 price is S$1900 + $$$ shipping.

Obviously, I'm not selling the mount without the GOTO controller :D :D :D

If it's just for visual, why don't u make/buy a wooden dob mount instead? much cheaper than any of the mounts listed above.

actually i already have this type of mount..but the problem is i can't bring it out to near dark place...so now i am thinking to make the tube lighter weight and then can put it onto the Gp mount..or somthings like this.....

i made my self motorized altaz mount...now it is under construction, using Microcheap to track, last time u used pc to track...but u know alt,az can't go for astrophotography. you will need derotator...so all this must consider..

i can motorize my mount easily...because i can do microcheap programming to control the mount.
