Hi,
The second cheaper option might be to get an AstroSlew mount. This is design and manufacture by our fellow SingAstroian, denebman (liuming), but no longer in production any more. You can try your luck by posting a "WTB" ad here for a used AstroSlew mount head and buy a survey tripod. This option should cost you may be less than S$500.
The third and most expensive option is to get a CG-5/SkyView Pro/EQ-5/GP-DX EQ mount. Not sure how much a used one will cost as it's depend on the condition of the mount.
Anyway, I think you can just post a "WTB" ad for a mount with 10kg loading capacity. You might be lucky and get one at a low cost.
Have a nice day.
If you are good at DIY or you know some carpenter, the cheapest option might be building a Dobsonian base. See this website for more info on how to build one: http://members.aol.com/sfsidewalk/cdobplans.htmdo u hVE tripod to do with tht and how much would it cost

I can let go my Astroslew II mount for $300. If u need tripod, i'll let go my surveyor tripod for additional $100 (if bought together with mount). See here for pics: http://www.singastro.org/viewtopic.php?t=5110

Hi,
Have a nice day.
Do you still have the matching Vixen-style dovetail clamp?? Hmm... May be I'll get your AstroSlew II mount to use on my 8" Newtonian and sell my Vixen R135 (should be easier to sell)...I can let go my Astroslew II mount for $300.
