Well I'm using a nikon 8x40 and it's pretty good. Definitely comparable to the Minolta Activa series. Bought mine at Cathay photoshop at marina Square. Those 7x 50 and 10x 50 is really tedious on the arms and you'll get lots of shake if you don't have a tripod. So get those app. below 50. You wouldn't regret it.

Yeah zackae is right.

The best advice i can give u now Min min is to take your time...dont rush into buying one. Feel free to see all the different equipment that the forum members have..learn the do and donts. then finally when u are ready, then buy :)

Anyway my bino I have is 1 bought it way back in 1999. Its a Celestron Ultima 10x50 and its high performance and yet ultra light. (and expensive too of cos ) haha...
