so how much is one? $380 pr $220? hmm... you think can find a photo store in malaysia that might stock?
In Singapore, it's ard S$220 new. I've bought 2 of these heads so far and they are always around that price range.

Even if they were available across the causeway, I'm not sure how attractive the prices for such items will be over there.

Bought my 410RC at Ruby Photo months back (less than a year) for $185. New. You can try checking with them again (building across Peninsula Plaza, same floor as Camera Workshop)

yeah i dont mind.. but the guy at cathay said that he's already got 10 orders for the 410 and he still doesnt seem very interested in pushing to bring more units in. so for the bulk order to work i think its gonna have to really be a BULK order.. anyone else here looking to get a 410?

Hey, why don't you guys try to source it from overseas?

Or Samuel, possible for you to work out a dealership with manfrotto and bring these items in?

I did ask "Gruppo Manfrotto" direct sometime in the past when I saw how Cathay couldn't really keep up with the demand for the 410 head (since most users of this head in the local market seems to be...us !), but the Manfrotto guys won't sell direct to me since they already have a large main distributor in Singapore. It's is this large marketing co (can't remember the name). And given the size of this local co's ops, without even asking, I think I roughly know what they feel about small vendors like us...sobz..
