The funny thing is I got this AP email the same day I got my hands on the Meade 127mm APO.

Life is really strange
Nope, you were destined to do a head-to-head comparo with them on Jupiter!
Umm......that's true! You gave me a great idea.

But can't afford to keep both..... [smilie=bye2.gif]

C'mon... you can afford an AP and cannot afford to keep the Meade? [smilie=confused.gif]

Cannot la....very broke. Want the AP only for one reason. That scope can serve as a good inflation hedge.

Anyone want the Meade 127mm APO? Drop me a PM

Orr ok....just got it only.....maybe will do some first light tonight.

Mechanic-wise not bad, but obviously not in the league of Tak, AP or even WO. Tube finishing is nice. The case design is well thought off, but I think it's not strong enough for long use.

Overall it looks great. But will check the color correction when got chance.

Err... the notification only tells you that your scope will be manufactured and you have to pay 50% down, right? you will have to pay the other half when the scope is ready (which can be one more year), isn't it?

Vin, can test the 127 head-to-head with my 115? let me know time and location :)
Liu Ming tested it against an NP127 and he couldn't detect any difference in resolution.
