Internal dimensions of dry cabinets

Well, unless there is a CHUNK of grease,...but it would take a long time for the grease to slowly drip down the threaded bolt before it falls on the primary. And, if in a Dry Cab, the 47-50% humidity range shouldn't make grease get wet and start to drip! Don't worry you wouldn't have any probs with grease dripping unless you put the scope in the cab and never touch it for years and years!! Had my C8 like that for years...dust only...lol!

Any idea can dry cabinet be placed horizontally? I want to keep my 34" OTA horizontally. If I keep vertically, worry OTA weight will damage objective lens shade.

No probs! I had one laid down before. The door opens downward onto the floor. Just make sure there is enough room and no one can 'BANG' into it when the door is opened. However you do loose shelving, unless you can make or purchase plastic types (bathroom plastic trays) if there is space.
Standing, laying, upside down....no probs. Just have some small gap behind for the dehumidifier unit to breath!
