Beautiful photos!

We will be heading to G. Bromo in two months time....

Edit: we had already booked our flight to Surabaya a month ago, now these photos are so enticing that we will make a side trip to Bromo along the way :)

Wonderful pics! I think the views you captured beat Bromo and Ijen hands down!

The climb was really worth it!

jiahao, your pix really nice. I am using a Philips 240PW9 S-IPS to look at your pix, and then using my usual netbook one. On the S-IPS monitor, WOW! Shows the colour depth much more.

Hi Clifford,

Thanks for the good words. The colours in the pictures are all nature. The no.1 principle when I process my landscape shots is to preserve the natural tone.

vivid wrote:Nice pix. But actually more amazing is that you solo backpacked there + you are so young. :) You speak bahasa?

Whenever I go back to my wife's town in Indonesia, I only dare to ride motorbike about 10km radius away. LOL! Anything more than that = unfarmiliar territory and need to go in a group of 2 bikes or more. (safety)
Hi vivid,

I speak only very basic Bahasa to atl least enable myself negotiating price with the locals. Actually I didn't really go to any remote areas this time. Java is in general densely populated with good public transport systems. If I'm to explore some wild places, I would definitely find companies.
