oh one thing.....let's sae i didn't buy the scope from sci centre.....then who can i look for to service my scope if problems arise?

cause if i buy from sci centre they will service but now i never...so how?
I believe they still will help you out with the servicing, but it's gonna cost you since there is no warranty coverage.

Hi Shoelevy.
I was under the impression you're a beginner. Why would you want to buy such a large scope for your first scope? The advert clearly states that its only the OTA. Based on its asking price, plus shipping, I would think it would cost at least S$1400+ to bring it to your doorstep. You will then need to spend more on basic accessories such as a sturdy mount (probably cost the same to ship to Singapore), finder, eyepieces, etc. You will also need a good star chart...
Better for you to start off with a cheaper refractor. You can always keep it when you upgrade as a get-up-and-go scope...

Yes, Astro science will service your scope. But they charge a bomb servicing scopes bought from them, so they will probably chop you more since you did not buy from them...we are talking about hundreds of dollars here...

Hi Shoelevy
Oops. Just realised that you own a C5, so you're not a beginner after all.
Are you selling your C5 to finance your 9.25? Do let is know if you are...heh heh :D

Have you set up an account with astromart yet ? If you have, you can post a 'Wanted' ad for it and let those who want to sell come to you instead.
