Junming - why not buy a decent second hand optic? At least that way when you sell it again you don't lose much at all.
The other way is to nicely ask some of the more experienced ones here to borrow a scope thy're not using much and look through it to experience the seeing. At least then you get an idea what you will or will not see through the scope
Don't forget about the mount also; the telescope is no good without a good mount, all you will see are jiggles and squiggles. Mounts can be costly too, especially if you want to do photography as those need more stability.
Keep an eye out in the buy/sell section, occasionally good deals or cheap deals pop up

DON'T PANIC
Hi Junming. So you are the one who made my last few seconds of my youtube video looks more interesting. Thanks!
Regarding the pointless part, speaking from my own limited experience, I feel it is not. You forget the *value* you gain from full hands-on experience on your 1st second hand scope. Let's say I sell my 1st scope mak 127 at $50 lower than the amt I bought it for. On paper, I lost $50. But in real terms, I gain way more than that - i have internalised (not just understand base on theory) the importance of a good mount, aperture vs portability, fov vs magnification, how to check optics for defects....etc. This gain allowed me to make an easy decision to buy my second 2nd-hand scope C8. Had it not been for the experience gained with my first scope, I would be absolutely clueless what offer is consider a good deal and what is not.
Thanks for giving me the idea to blog about this in the future!

Forget the video. The main thing is do you understand my point about the non-video part?

Good for you! Taka sky 90 is a good scope to learn the ropes.

I think better to drop the idea of the Tak for it gives very little bang for the buck... Suggest you try a 8" SCT on an alt-az mount instead. But most importantly, follow the other's advice to observe through a few more scopes first before deciding on what (if any) to purchase.
We do it in the dark...
