And as for location of the light bridge in the photos
......look for the biggest dark spot in the photos
........right beside this spot is a bright streak (most
visible in Alvin enhanced photos).....thats the light bridge.

Re: Unedited Solar Images from Jan 2012 onwards
Firstly thanks Alvin for the upload and enhancing of the images
which show the bright spot on the filament.
This filament which I estimate to be nearly 1.2 million km
long.......after taking the curvature of the sun into consideration. ....
is the longest observed for this sunspot cycle.
More strange a bright spot.....which suggest a flare of sort....
appeared in the middle of the filament. It lasted for approx 1/2 an hour
with the filament seems totally unaffected. Its the first time I observe
this strange phenomenon. The photos are evidence s.
which show the bright spot on the filament.

Thx Chia, for the explanation.

Hi Alvin
Yes,had been monitering with direct shoot high
zoom camera since its appearance.Expect its
showing to be ok only. Its Cak bright region is
not large. As usual during this decaying part of the
Cycle.......its the usual up and down of activities with overall trend towards lower and lower activities
until around 2017...2018 where the minimum begin again.
