By the way, I think your scope should come with a software call "TheSkyX - First Light Edition". Use the software to help you learn the sky.
Have a nice day.
don't understand how to work with it yet..still trying very hard to figure out what on the software.

Best way to learn: Bring it to one of the sidewalk sessions. One of the folks will help you figure it out

Hi bern, welcome to the forum.
Do you use a iPhone or android phone?
If you do, you could try getting apps like starwalk or skysafari.
It apps like this could be handy when learning the night skies.
If possible try joining in star party or sidewalk session. In Just a session alone. You would a able to pick up a lot of things.
And the most important thing about a hobby, is to have fun. Don't stress up. Slowly learn the night sky.

Hi everyone, I'm so happy with all of your help and I'm able to spot saturn.
Now have another question..
my telescope aperture is 4.5", focal lenght 1000mm and using 10mm lens to view saturn with a size of about 3mm. anyway for me to increase the size of the saturn?
Thanks

Use a 2x barlow to get it to 6mm in size or get a 5x tele extender and you have have a 15mm Saturn.
