thanks guys. Yes we looked at Saturn too. It is a great scope, sharp, fast and relatively colour-free (better compared to the C6R which is 6" f/8).
We will try out another stint tonight, same place, same time. Do join us if you are free.

We had another busy sidewalk astro session this evening at Cineleisure Orchard. This time we took more time to show Saturn at 166x to the public. And in the end, the public also enjoyed the 100 deg. view of the whole Full Moon magnified to 93x.

We had a successful event for sidewalk astronomy at Orchard Road on Sat 7 Jun 2014. Due to no response here, yellow sub did not surface... only a 130mm Newtonian showed up, but the Orchard Road crowd enjoyed the views nevertheless.
