Southern Cross & Coalsack Nebula - Bedok

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Here is one more Crux and Coal Sack, taken last night at ECP near carpark D1 (coconut patch), 35mm fixed F2.0 lens at F4.0, ISO 1600 30s X60, un-guided but did a rough polar alignment using 1 bright star and 1 digital level meter (which is for measuring our Lat of 1.35 deg).

This round, the Astronomic CLS filter is removed, as a result, the color is more natural but contrast suffer a bit.

Nice...last night sky really good!
I miss the place where stars shine bright, to gaze upwards in awe of the sight

Thanks Jun Wei, the spot that you introduced is still not bad despite the ships docked in front, due to Object (Southern Cross) is setting and facing towards South West while taking :)
