i actually saw young girls handing out "Vote For Sly" flags out at Somerset MRT today! TsK! Kids nowdays...What if their idols like to star-gaze too? Will they rush off to buy astro-related stuff too? Isnt it ironic?

Umm..you just gave me an idea.....

What if we get taufik or sly to singastro??

You know this voting thing is getting out of hand. I think PAP election campaign also not so hot.

I mean their girl fans sleep so little anyway..why not channel their insomnia into sometime meaningful?

you know..i feel sad for the parents of these gals. I know it's all part of growing up, once they reach a certain age, this will dies naturally in them. But this gal is already 22....and the money and time she has could be put to better use. Why waste all the youth, money, time, for a view of a man who will hardly notice you? There should be a line between idolising and reality.

Come this time next year, Sly will be forgotten and it will be another guy. Why take it so seriously? Really couldn't understand what's running in these gals' mind. Interestingly, it's always the gals who are heavily involved in all these idol thing. The guys really can't be bothered.

Haha, actually taufik needs to win (and deserves to). He comes from a not so well off family. He's living with his brothers and mum only and she is a cleaner who have to work like 12 hours per day to support the family.

Not that we should give him some sympathy votes but I really think he's the better singer out of the final two. He's a great performer plus he is humble.

I beg to differ about the humble part...cocky is the word i'd use...
But I dun really care about Singapore Idol. Not my kinda of show anyway. As far as I'm concern, the people who could actually sing got voted out already. So all you got are the leftovers who are just being voted on looks rather than vocals...but that's just some people for you.

well.. u guys can complain abt how crazy sly's fans r. but u gotta admire him for that kinda attraction. this is what sg idols r all abt wad, its not a singing competition, its an idol competition. those that cant sing but still win votes due to other factors but be irritating but somehow they still manage to generate votes. quite pro what haha.
