Hi,
Oh no, I thought I could own a scope finally.
Just too bad, I'm slow.
Anybody else have such offer to let go please?

Well.. I'm not even a beginner
If you think you are not even a beginner, I suggest you don't buy a scope now. Join a few observation session first and take a look at various type of scope and mount... learn the advantage and disadvantage of various scope and mount. Also, try to learn how to read a star chart and may be how to operate a scope and it mount. Then you should be able to select a scope and mount that suit you best and will know how to use it once you buy it.

Have a nice day.

those offer containing the cg3 mount, skip them. it's not a usable mount. the cg4 is a way better mount. this has been discussed in the past, so i'm not going to elaborate.

curious, the 6" newt, is it f/5 or f/8? the f/5 version with the cg4 seems ok. the f/8 is kind of big for the cg4.

The C6N quite portable lar. only abt 20+ kg? anyway its f/5 and the CG-4 is very smooth

not as bad as i expected. the 6" f/5 seems to be a gd match for the cg4. very usable setup that should last you a long long time. wat eyepiece and accessories are included?

The OTA is only 5-6kg lah, because it is the same scope as my sky-Watcher 6" F5 Newtonian. :)

Didn't you get a laser collimator, collimating eyepiece or sight tube? This should be the first thing to get for a Newtonian. :?:

By the way, remember to adjust the latitude setting of CG-4 to near 0 degree for use in Singapore.

Anyway, this scope should be able to give you a nice 2 degree True Field of View (with a very good low power eyepiece) and very nice high power view (up to 200x). :D

Enjoy your scope and have a nice day. :D :D :D
